Jonathan Victor Remember My Name - Recycled Eco-Friendly Premium Unisex T-Shirt
Jonathan Victor was shot 4 times and killed by police May 13th 2017.
Jonathan was traveling from his family’s home in New Orleans to Florida for work on a rainy day and was involved in a 1 vehicle accident on Interstate 10. His car landed in a marsh and hit a tree, pinning the driver’s side door against trees and bushes. He was unconscious, bleeding, and unable to exit the vehicle when the fire department found him. Once Baldwin County sheriff's department arrived, they demanded he exit the passenger side through the deep mud and water. Jonathan was STILL bleeding, injured, and disoriented, then when he attempted to follow these orders Baldwin County sheriff's deputy Matthew Hunady shot him 4 times from close range with an AR556 inflicting 6 injuries. There were many ADMITTED discrepancies in the calls Baldwin county sheriff's department made to Jonathan’s family, including stating that he had sustained non-life threatening injuries. 3 hours had passed before his family received ANY factual information and Jonathan was deliberately taken to USAH in Alabama, which is MUCH further than the closest hospital to the scene of his accident, which would have taken 5 minutes. Baldwin County sheriff's office sent Jonathan to the hospital naked, and under a FAKE name before changing his identity to "unidentifiable" and allowed him to die 5 separate times. Jonathan's family was able to be with him and his mother, Donna Chisesi was able to hold her son’s hand as he took his final breath, the same way she held it when he took his first. Since his murder, Jonathan's family, his mother, Donna in particular, has been verbally assaulted, threatened, and lied to over and over by the Baldwin County District Attorney’s office. They keptsaying Jonathan WANTED to be killed. Matthew Hunady WAS WEARING A BODYCAM, but it was "pointed away" from Jonathan when he was executed. The Baldwin County sheriff's office conducted an INTERNAL INVESTIGATION and presented it to a grand jury who found NO officer guilty of ANY wrongdoing. Matthew Hunady returned to work, from PAID LEAVE, 10 days later. All profits from this shirt go toward supporting these families and funding memorials for the lives stolen too soon. Wearing this shirt not only honors Jonathan, but shines a light on the tragic realities that are still happening today. Order your shirt today and take a stand for those who can no longer fight for themselves. It’s a small step, but together, those steps turn into movements that demand change. This eco-friendly unisex t-shirt is made from 65% recycled polyester and 35% recycled Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton. Lightweight, comfortable, and a symbol of the fight for justice.
